Another good place to visit is Nyati. Nyati is an ancient fishing village that attracts visitors from all over the world. It was originally a place where people used to go fishing but later it became a popular tourist destination. A must-visit place in Mombasa for all visitors is the Mombasa International Airport, also known as the Mombasa International airport since it serves both charter and regular flights to different cities around the globe. You can use the free pass provided by the airport for your accommodation and transportation needs while you are here. You can visit the city from the airport itself by hiring a car or a taxi and if you do not have a free pass, you can simply use the taxi services available in town for transport between the airport and different destinations. 

For those travelling to Masiphumelele from areas such as Nyati, tamburra and other cities, you can simply rent a car and head towards Mombasa from any of the major airports in Kenya. From there you can travel to either Mombasa or Masiphumelele by travelling on the tusks, which are available throughout the year. However, for those travelling from areas such as Mombasa, tamburra and other cities, the best option is to travel by water. Rather than using the tusks, you can travel on the traditional bicycles known as kanga, which are available at the stalls along the moi avenue and the coast road.
